Mission
Community Wellness Center's mission is to address the challenges of unintended teen pregnancy in Taos County, utilizing advocacy, effective health education, and positive youth development programs to promote empowerment and leadership.
Vision
We envision a community that effectively supports its youth in realizing their goals and potential, where unintended teen pregnancies are significantly reduced, and healthy choices are fostered by age-appropriate evidence-based reproductive health education.
Prevention Programs
All CWC programs – girltime, Puentes, and Peer Health Education – seek to reduce the number of teen pregnancies, decrease the rate of STDs/HIV, and to foster youth empowerment and leadership in Taos County. Click the links below for more:
